The section titled Military Curios includes various items such as the famous WW1 Princess Mary Gift Tins which were sent to the trenches in 1914, these iconic items turn up on a regular basis but are most popular when they contain the original contents. Other items of Military curios would also include presentation items, military commemoratives, hallmarked silver regimental items and items which may have been carried on a British soldier as a lucky charm.
It is within this section of the auction which can produce some very strange and shocking prices as often these items are one off pieces which have not got a track record of prices achieved previously at auction.
