The Antiques & Collectibles department, although offering a broader spectrum of items from various periods and countries, is still very much a specialist department. Our specialists can provide expert advice and valuations on areas such as coins, silver, jewellery, watches, Oriental works of art and objet d’art etc. Covering all periods, right up the 20th century, our specialists have a wealth of experience and knowledge across all areas.
We hold four Antique & Collectibles auctions per year together with some stand alone specialist auctions for specific areas such as silver. If it is a single item or an entire collection we are on hand to guide you through the auction process and always achieve strong prices on sale day.
We have sold diverse and unusual pieces such as a pair of 18th century Islamic doors to more conservative items such as gold pocket watches. The auctions are right throughout the calendar so you can be sure to always have an upcoming auction to look forward to. However if you would prefer a more discreet option then we can offer a private treaty sale outside of the saleroom.
