Valuation
Whether you have a whole collection that you are looking to sell or just one particular item, we offer you a free valuation. Get in touch today either by telephone or email and we can arrange valuing your items, either by you making a trip to us or one of our specialists can come to you.
Charges
C&T auctioneers have a simple fee structure, which is one-fee-covers-all. Not only is our fee one of the lowest for a specialist auction house in the UK, we do NOT charge for valuing, cataloguing, photographing or promoting. You simply pay a commission charge (15% + VAT,18% inclusive) on the hammer price of your lots. This is only charged when your items have been sold, all items are covered under our insurance.

Cataloging
Once we have valued your items and you are happy to consign, our team will get to work in preparing your item/items for auction. Our expert will describe your item(s) for our online catalogue. The lot(s) will then be photographed, for both colour illustrated print and online purposes.
Promotion
With the growth in Internet and print promotion, we may select your item to have its own promotional campaign; this will include social media coverage through our Twitter page, Facebook page or Youtube channel. We also have had national and international newspaper & TV coverage of lots sold through our auction, see our media pages for more details.
Pre Auction
Prior to the auction you will receive a seller statement . We send printed promotional catalogues/broachures to our database of clients, which includes international and national collectors.
Post Auction
You will receive a statement detailing your lots and the hammer prices they have achieved then. Once we have had full payment on all of your lots, usually 30 days after the sale, payment will be forwarded to you minus our commission fees.
